Dr. David T. Burke is a renowned expert in rehabilitation medicine, regenerative medicine, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) research. Currently, he serves as the Professor and Chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, where he also leads cutting-edge research in brain health and regenerative therapies. In addition, Dr. Burke is the Director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre USA-478, guiding global health initiatives in rehabilitation and recovery.

Dr. Burke began his distinguished career after earning his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by an internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Louisiana State University Medical Center, where he was chief resident. Prior to joining Emory, he served as the Medical Director of the Clinical Unit of Traumatic Brain Injury at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and was a founding member of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Burke’s work as a board advisor and principal investigator for Clear Health Pass focuses on advancing regenerative medicine and leveraging his expertise in TBI and neurorehabilitation to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.
